Someone now is going to doubtlessly point out that I have neglected to put a face on one of these dolls.  Yes. I am aware of this.  Have purchased art materials for fancy face-making as per this video:

Half price thrift store shopping....not bad. Dolls for $3 each . Savings always make me happy. What do you do with the dolls once you are done with them? I can see some of them are displayed or in storage awaiting some purpose unknown to  me but you cannot keep all of them, can you  . Some guesses at what the dolls are for:
(a) They are made because you are professional artists and sell them to clients.
(b) You do this as part of a from home business.
(c) You do it as part of a major hobby that you enjoy.

I used to sell customized dolls on ebay.  Played a significant role in helping me pay off my student loans.  Thinking about getting back into customizing to supplement the old income a little...

It's interesting what sort of re-texturing and repainting can do to dolls. My daughters used to have a few and I remember that my daughters had this one doll they always tugged along with them as kids, and it got really worn down and the paint chipped off of it. So me and my wife took it and then we repainted it, and my daughters really liked it, felt like it was brand new again. (My daughters, especially my eldest was a bit of a tomboy. That's what happens when you get someone like me parenting  )

They are all grown up now, and I have yet to see any grand daughters, just grandsons so far. Wouldn't mind having a grand daughter or two though.

Well, it would be just like one of those evil dolls to switch places with a human.

Perhaps that's not a naked Barbie at all, but some poor bride transformed on her wedding night... now trapped in a doll's body. One never really knows.

One day, perhaps someone will discover that BUncle has been transformed/replaced by a doll that looks just like him .

I will never have tattoos and haven't had my hair that short since the eighties.
