The UK has gone all ugly with this clown stuff.  Lots of reports of clowns throwing rocks, pipes, branches, etc. today. 


Man attacked by group of teens.  Not claiming victory because it seems clowns in the group were coincidence, just randomly masked kids with at least one clown mask.

The attackers were wearing dark clothing, aged around 14-18 years, with hoods up and their faces covered.

Police said some were reported to be wearing clown masks during the attack at 7.50pm on Sunday.

October 30th confluence. 

I mentioned above how the forest clowns were coming from American Horror Story, and the Knifey city clowns were coming from The Purge. 

For anyone unfamiliar, The Purge series is one set in a near future where the government sets aside one day where there are no rules.  Everything is legal.  People go out in masks and kill and loot and rape, etc.

Since that series inception, several "Purge" events have attempted/threatened to organize for specific areas via social media.  Concept being if you could raise a mob, the cops wouldn't be able to stop things.  To date, none have been successful. 

Enter the clowns. 

Random teen makes fake account and promises nation wide clown purge for October 30th.  This thing is blowing up hardcore.  News could be grabbing it soon, which will just make it worse.

Simon Chinery, 28, said the masked attacker sliced his right hand "down to the bone" with a 10in blade damaging four ligaments.

Father-of-one Mr Chinery claims he was walking away from a service station cash point when the clown crept up behind him.
 
Mr Chinery, who works as a joiner, said he grabbed the knife to stop the clown doing any serious harm to his body and his fingers "exploded" following the altercation.

He was taken to hospital for doctors to try and repair the damage.

Mr Chinery, of Blackburn, Lancashire, said: "I had never been so petrified in all my life. It has left me feeling sick to the bottom of my stomach – it was literally something from a horror movie."

The incident, which happened in Blackburn City Centre on October 9, involved a clown which Mr Chinery describes as "petrifying".

He describes the clown as dressed in a green wig, with black eye make-up, red nose and red beard. The clown donned a green jacket, white fitted top, big black boots and rubber latex gloves.

Describing the attack, Mr Chinery said: "It wasn't a mask of sorts, it was more scary makeup.

"I just panicked when I saw the knife – he pointed it towards me and I just used my instinct by grabbing the knife and he pulled at the same time.

"In that moment I think I just wanted the knife away from me, I could have been in intensive care or worse if it had slashed my neck.

"My fingers then just exploded – there was blood everywhere. I didn't know what to do because it all happened so quickly, but the knife just sliced it down to the bone.

"I just ran home and my mum called for an ambulance."

As Mr Chinery, who was later taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital, fell to the floor he tried to punch the attacker with his left hand – as the clown ran off.

Doctors told Mr Chinery that they do not know the long-lasting extent of his injury and will need to carry out reconstructive surgery on his hand.

Mr Chinery said: "This attack has ruined my life – I am disabled from this and cannot return to the trade and job which I love.

"The doctors have already told me I will never get the same movement out of my hand I had before. I've lost my job – I might have to have several operations to remove ligaments from my leg into my hand.

"You can still see the blood coming through on the dressing – it's awful. I'm going to look into compensation. That's all I can do now."

He added: "I am just glad it was me and not my nine-year-old son or my young nieces or nephews."

Asked what he thought of the clown craze sweeping the UK, Mr Chinery added: "I was absolutely hysterical when I saw him.

"I'm a former kickboxer so it wasn't as if I'm scared of clowns – I think it was just seeing the knife which was the shocking thing.

"People behaving like this really need to stop – I have been having nightmares and the pain is unreal. This clown craze is getting out of control."

Lancashire Police are investigating the incident, but are yet to interview Mr Chinery.

A Lancashire Police spokesman said: "We have had it reported to us that a 28-year-old was walking home alone in Blackburn, at around 8.45pm on October 9, and has been approached by someone dressed as a clown.

"It appears the clown has pulled out a knife which the victim, from Blackburn, has tried to grab.

"He has received injuries to his fingers. He was taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital for treatment and was transferred to Royal Preston Hospital.

"An investigation has now been launched into the incident."

No arrests have yet been made.

Happened at an ATM.  So, this could be prank gone bad or attempted robbery gone bad using clown hysteria as a cover.  Or kickboxer making up a story on why he's been cut...

A father-of-one who claimed he had been left 'disabled for life' after being attacked by a 'killer clown' made it up, police have revealed.

Simon Chinery, 28, said he was attacked by a clown at a cash machine and had suffered serious ligaments injuries to his hand from a 10-inch blade.

However Lancashire Police now say the man was 'not attacked by a clown and had in fact injured his hand falling on broken glass'.

They said he had been issued a fine for wasting police time.

Chinery even claimed he'd lost his job due to the severity of his injuries and described in detail what the clown was wearing in Blackburn, Lancs.

A spokesperson from Lancashire Police said: 'After looking into this report we have established that the man was not attacked by a clown and had in fact injured his hand falling on broken glass.

'We are aware that widespread media coverage of this allegation may have been unsettling for local residents and we would like to reassure the public that no crime has taken place on this occasion.

'We have now issued a 28-year-old man from Blackburn with a penalty notice for wasting police time.

 'We work extremely hard investigating serious crime and our time needs to remain focused on genuine incidents.'
