Yeah; whether global warming is a real concern or not (I think it is), it's a bad move to lump it in with pollution-sort ecological issues.

Brazil was a desert during the last ice age. I don't live there, but my understanding is that Brazil is actually a rather temperate country. It it became warmer rather than colder, then perhaps they should count their blessings.
