Below him are three Mars Hill College girls and a Valdese High cheerleader.

Most of these girls have their own dolls - that get pressed into service as Christmas tree ornaments every year, so they're mostly in a box somewhere.  Pity; some charm is added, seeing the dolls holding their own little dolls.

Back to the dining room, top corner of the shelf next to the piano.  Also present are pictures of both my grampas, several casting of sculptures I did of Buster, and another copy of the Olmec head, this one in clear resin, and a Barbie bust I did, likewise in blue.

Doris Day I heard of. Rock Huston....

She's  's mom, for one thing.

He was the first major American celebrity to die of AIDS.  -Back when he was making movies with Doris Day, circa 1960, he was famous as the most beautiful man alive.  He and Day made a number of comedies together.

Reportedly, many of his ex wives and girlfriends found out he was gay when he was dead, and were astonished.

Moving on to the next section to the left.

On the top row is a line of dolls for 'tweens, Only Hearts Club.  Simple cloth bodies on wire frames, they come dressed like normal girls, 10-13, and neither slutty nor bratty-looking.  You just don't see decent stuff like that marketed to girls that age much anymore.  And they're adorable.
