Buster's Daddy built the wall shelf about 10 years ago; many of the dolls have been there all along, and no books were displaced.

We could use a lot more bookshelves, actually, just for the books...

All my wimminz wus gone when I got up this morning.  Turns out there was a doll show in Salisbury.  This happens a lot when Aunt Pokey is by for the weekend.

The new doll haul below is towards the front of the table; that's just today's addition to the last pic of the table...

Yes, and sadly, she does not have 15 petticoats under that skirt.

She does not have any.  -My bet is that this oversight will be rectified soon.

Probably.  The girl with a shield you asked about before is supposed to be Mark Antony.  There's a Cleopatra that goes with her - I don't know if you spotted her or the (Caucasian) Nefertiti on top of the piano.

Not tonight. My wife watched the episode of "criminal minds" today in which that  insane person turned humans into marionettes by dislocating their joints and putting eye screws into their bones. I've had about as much doll creepiness as I can stand for now.

I asked, and he's from India - Shivajee, which goggling tells me was an Indian warrior king, 1627/1630.
