October 30th confluence. 

I mentioned above how the forest clowns were coming from American Horror Story, and the Knifey city clowns were coming from The Purge. 

For anyone unfamiliar, The Purge series is one set in a near future where the government sets aside one day where there are no rules.  Everything is legal.  People go out in masks and kill and loot and rape, etc.

Since that series inception, several "Purge" events have attempted/threatened to organize for specific areas via social media.  Concept being if you could raise a mob, the cops wouldn't be able to stop things.  To date, none have been successful. 

Enter the clowns. 

Random teen makes fake account and promises nation wide clown purge for October 30th.  This thing is blowing up hardcore.  News could be grabbing it soon, which will just make it worse.

Overall, there are a LOT of confirmed beatings and stabbings from both sides of the clown line.  MORE IN UK/EUROPE THAN IN THE STATES. 

The amount of fake news is overwhelming.  With the purge being a no-show, I'm guessing we'll die down swiftly now in the states.  POSSIBLY a spike just after elections, but then done.  Outside the states, I got no clues, they're treating it more as an excuse to be hooligans where here it's more a trendy prank. 



Clowns have just hit Asia this morning as well.  We'll see what form it takes THERE.
