What would you like me to share, and where? I'm already in the middle of commenting on this case on CBC.ca (taking a quick break from there to check in here, since the moderator/censors there tend to shut down comments without warning, and I'd like to get in as many comments as possible since some of them will probably get pinked due to gang flagging from the fundamentalist posters there).

There's a thread in CFCOT on this as well; I'm composing a long post there on the topic...

Read the speech that goes with it, and you'll totally get the point and direct relevance, given the present context - also, smart meme targeted to subvert conservative brains using their own iconography and style.  I'm trying to destroy the US Republican party and shame the Cheney Bund forever, and having astonishing difficulty getting any cooperation spreading it...

I suppose I could tweet it, but most of the people who would see it are Canadians. 

Actually, this has the potential to derail the Star Trek thread into current election politics (your country is having one next year, and mine is in the middle of a federal campaign), so I think a new thread would be a better place to talk about getting rid of corrupt governments and taking back what our countries used to stand for.

The US Presidential Contenders thread? Honestly, it's not something I normally get interested in until the final candidates have been chosen.

Most Canadian federal elections are over and done with in 35-40 days, from the dropping of the writ to the final signoff of the CBC coverage on election night. This time around our election is taking basically forever, at almost 3 months. There's still over 5 weeks to go.

Right now the Canadian election is on my mind. Unless the American candidates bring up something that affects Canada (like that stupid border wall idea), I'm not paying much attention at this point.

'Star Trek: Voyager' Actress Arrested for Exposing Breasts, Butt To Young Kids

"Star Trek: Voyager" actress Jennifer Lien is behind bars after cops arrested her for allegedly exposing herself to 3 kids under 13.

We've learned 2 weeks ago Lien was at her Tennessee home when she got in an argument with her neighbor outside her house. She was angry that a small child was crying over a cut foot. 

Lien allegedly exposed her breasts and rear end to the 3 neighbor kids. Cops took a report and Lien denied exposing herself. But they didn't believe her and got a warrant for her arrest.

When cops went to Lien's house to arrest her she didn't go down without a fight. Cops say she refused to put clothes on, was carried to the police car and threatened to have them shot and killed.

Lien, who played Kes during the first three seasons of "Star Trek: Voyager" has been in jail since her arrest Sept. 3. Her bond is set at $2,500.

I guess this amounts to a story that buttresses the message of "Do not use illegal drugs." I think it illustrates her fall from grace.
