Random crap with Uno.

I've actually been trying to get a soundtrack for the yard together with their work, but there's just not enough of it.  There's a couple songs that would work, and a LOT that will be good when the eventual "them" area is done, but a lot of their songs I'd want to use can SOUND like they're swearing even though I know what they're saying you have to take into account public perception. 

And "similar" artists (I know there's not any) are typically so far below their level it makes it hard.  But really wanting to get back to that tribal feel in the music we used to do.  Might peruse taiko and djembe drums again.

Still really cool, even without the monsters. Did you put up all of that fodder the week before Halloween, or didn't you have a windstorm this year?

Storm was wednesday so it all went up thurs-sunday. 

In fact, I had to invent some new construction methods on the fly that weren't impacted by things like wet wood and freezing temperatures as even the screws weren't working to get the frames up ahead of time.  It might just become my go to for temp structures.

Necessity is the mother of invention, or innovation, at least. I fell off of a ladder trying to clean leaves from gutters after a storm. It hurt quite a bit, but I landed flat and spread out the impact. No serious harm done. However, I am forbidden from using ladders. I am repairing/installing Christmas lights. A scaled back plan and a grocer's grabber tool, and it's going pretty well.

Ooo, xmas lights.  I was trying to do some temp clips for my halloween stage, using binder clips, and come up with this idea for xmas lights, works wonders

Clip these to the soffit and hang the lights from the hooks.  (most soffits have little valleys these can clip into easy)

Thanks, I have plastic clips, but they get brittle and break. These have potential. Bookmarked.

Ok, BU, I'm looking for an old post. 

It would have been a video I posted. I would have seen it at transworld reports so probably late April-early June.  Probably pre-Covid, but maybe as late as 21 but I think 2020 or earlier.  DEFINITELY post-chimera tutorial in 2013.  I think post Father in 2015. 

Video is of an animated deer skull headed figure.  Chest glows (which didn't become a commercially available thing til my chimera tutorial).  I think I commented along the lines "most Uno prop for sale ever"

I comment in a few later posts what I would alter....

Looking to see if that company is still in business, and see if I can't find some customers that can show the linkages cause I have a moose ribcage, a spare motor, and some desire to get moving on a project.
