He's made it pretty clear he's not keen to pour more effort into it, and I can respect that. I've been there with projects. Pushing it would be both not a nice thing to do and probably counterproductive to his motivation. Maybe he'll feel like coming back to it, and that'd be cool because more factions to add into the mix is always good, but I feel much better leaving it as a "this would be cool if you feel like it but no pressure" thing.

It's an organizer thing, I guess - I want to be loved, and I think I mostly succeed at being good to people, but taking no for an answer very easily is not how to get things done.  But I certainly don't want juggling so many eggs to get in the way of decency.  Life's a difficult balance, I increasingly find as I accrete wisdom through experience.

So Kil - whaddaya think?  I believe you indicated some interest in unmodded-ready versions before...

He has a version cropped for decency.  Out of frame, they still have no pants.  Links in the other LE thread, if he hasn't removed everything from his website yet - he'd be thrilled if someone gave it a try.  PLEASE.

From the very beginning there's been censored versions available from my site, yeah. Most characters got loin cloths or the pictures were zoomed in to normal SMAC style (head and shoulders).

I appreciate Ete's respect on not trying to push me into things.

Personally I am currently suffering from trying to squeeze too much into my life at the moment. Between recording, art, tabletop modelling and C&C I don't really have much spare time. Dad says I should stop half of what I am doing to help with my stress problems.

If the mood strikes me in the next coming months I would like to finish Tomorrow at the very least. Meora's got a classic faction there--winning combination really. Naked dragon, SMAX, actually fun to play.

Really, I am just trying to avoid people doing the wrong thing with my dudes. I did weigh up replacing them with new pokemon characters and re-releasing but it's a dead on arrival mod, so yeah. XD

First thing I did today, this post. I wonder how much sense it makes.

I do have one pokemon faction I'd like to make for normal SMAX. Shame is that the original guy who edited the leader pic I like really avoids me like the plague and he said I am not allowed to distribute the pic, haha.

They probably are. I still have files of your originals, at least some of them- including the beast/pokemon picture things as well;

I really like some of the bases though, and ideology wise some of them are very interesting as well.
