For those playing along at home- the first two smilies Geo posted featured red hats, which has acquired unfortunate reactionary connotations as sort of a uniform for dumb hate politics in recent years.  My fix retroactively fixes that.

:announce: <- This one turns out to be easy as the hat doesn't move and I only had to hue-shift once and paste the results into all the other 16 frames.  The waving hat is a chore that will take a lot longer, as it moves around and I have to select/alter multi-shades of red one at a time 18 times.

I was able to resist the urge to be provocative to those of nazi leanings and make the hat blue, though that would have looked much better...

That was, indeed, a tedious chore to make a less-vivid smilie.  I should gone w/ blue -or green- but I'm not gonna do it again...

I like it.  :ok:
Though it does remind me of the Red Army.

We are no longer particularly in the business of writing software to perform specific tasks. We now teach the software how to learn, and in the primary bonding process it molds itself around the task to be performed. The feedback loop never really ends, so a tenth year polysentience can be a priceless jewel or a psychotic wreck, but it is the primary bonding process?the childhood, if you will?that has the most far-reaching repercussions.
