I'll take a look after I've finished this current run-through.

Currently using Thanksgiving. Seems fine, colors are really nice, only problem is that the text in the posts comes out underlined. There's probably a little bit of code in this part of the CSS to do with the font that mentions underlining that shouldn't be there.

It's a problem because the entire post is underlined and looks like a link, but it really isn't.

I've done a bit of fix-up on minecraft.  As before, legibility against that background is tricky, but the menu should stand out a teeny bit more.  -Individual theme-appropriate post icons are never a bad way to go, and not a lot of trouble...

...Maybe I should ditch minecraft in favor of making separate SMAC and SMAX themes - instead of mixing green and blue, make one blue and the other green, with the leaderheads/logos appropriate to each...

Though I like minecraft I'd never use a minecraft-theme in a non-minecraft-forum.

I see two categories that'll come up often:
Either one doesn't like minecraft and therefore won't use the theme.
Or one likes Minecraft very much, then he/she will probably be on some minecraft boards as well and might confuse our Forum with one of those and therefore won't use that theme.

I think everything in between is so sparse that it doesn't justify the lack of a second SMAC/X-theme

So, my vote would be for separate SMAC / SMAX theme instead of Minecraft.

...I think that would totally be the way to go, not least to please Yitzi - which is something of considerable value.  What I really need to do is figure out how to duplicate the SMACX theme directly, and then start altering them separately.  -Another benefit would be that I can make the top and sides of the background less crowded, which ought to look better.  I'm sure I can jigger the logo to one side or the other to make room...

Okay, working out the bugs still, but I've mostly replaced minecraft with SMACX.

Customizing is gonna take a while...

The other possibility would be to have the basic theme/skin with just colors and background, and then have additions such as the presence/locations of poll, blurb, and SMAC/X sidebar(s) be settable independently.

Siiigh.  Okay, nothing's going to happen super-fast, because I took hours on the SMAC theme background, so many I'm not going to get the SMAX one done before my bedtime pills put me down in the next hour - and I haven't even BEGUN to touch the font colors on the respective efforts...

But what the heck; I'll do the uploading now on Thanksgiving.
