There could be, be there's a number of problems with that.
  • The right margin is exactly 27 pixels wide - some of those leaders' smile version wouldn't fit.
  • It would take hours and hours to do.
  • It would take up a theme slot when I'm trying to cut down to 10.
  • It would be yet another theme I had to upload images to and maintain.
  • I REALLY want us to be the first place on the innerwebs with a SMACX-W10 compatibility patch.
...How bad do you want this?... ;)

It turns out that what happens if you get rid of a theme from within that theme is that you're kicked into the default.

I had a look at the Halloween themes, and Halloween I was clown college.  Text was running of the right side of the page, the menu setup is ridiculous, and Adk Hallowen has it all over it, with all problems I'm aware of, I can fix.

-So goodbye to Halloween I.  And then there were 16.

Not that badly.

I'd be interested in knowing why you asked - top too busy for your tastes?

Actually, mainly because I don't want to have the Believers' symbol on the side of my screen like that, and the leaderheads seemed like a good substitute.  But if you're trying to cut down, I'll just use Astronomy instead.

...Actually, a random sampling indicated that the smilie size heads would fit, so if a tiny head superimposed over the symbols would do, It wouldn't be much trouble at all, and Miriam would totally cover the cross.  -Which doesn't fix the hogging-a-whole-slot problem.

Mind you, I'm pretty tickled with the improvements I did to Astronomy this morning...

The Astronomy theme is really nice!  :D

I have only two comments: The icons for read/unread aren't that clear. I finally figured out that they're observatory telescopes... right?

The shop items aren't showing up in peoples' sidebars.

The Chilling has developed a problem. The navigation links have mashed up to the point where I can't post in the Community. I can't even get here.

Just wanted to say that otherwise, I like The Chilling. But that navigation issue renders it unusable.

On to Minecraft. Honestly, this one isn't my cup of tea (though the brown in the background is a very nice color). And the navigation is difficult due to the font colors being washed out against the background:

SMACX: Same problem as Gone Fishin'. Random bits vanish, including in the window where I'm typing right now.

Also, the shop items are missing.

Not usable yet, as far as I'm concerned.

No usability issues for Autumn other than the date/timestamp at the top being basically invisible (green font on a background of mostly green/brownish-grey leaves). Fortunately I already know what day this is and the posts are timestamped anyway, so this isn't anything I'm going to fret about.

The colors remind me of an autumn sunset with the pinks and purples. It's nice, and I'd use it.  ;b;

...I went to a lot of trouble to get the menu down to one line in all the themes to reduce top-of-the-page space hogging.  How zoomed in are you?  At 100%, text size medium settings, everything should be one line.

I'll look at putting a better observatory silhouette on Astronomy, and do some fiddling with the menu colors in Minecraft.  I think I know how the problem in the Chilling got in, and can surely track that down.

At this time, I cannot do anything about the postbit items in themes where they don't display.

I have things magnified on my screen for most sites because otherwise I just can't read anything - my vision is that bad.

Ostara looks okay, not having any problems as of this posting. The dark olive green quote section looks a little strange, but as long as the font contrasts enough, it'll do.

I'll have a go at tracking down the dark olive green quote section - that sounds wrong for that theme.

Valka, The Chilling is fixed.  -The second line is a bit crowded, because that setting takes up top-space even if it's not needed, but everything should be separated enough at any faintly feasible size.

(I also FINALLY found the color on the pull-down fonts and made consistent, so Step Three:  Profit!)

As distances vanish and the people can flow freely from place to place, society will cross a psychological specific heat boundary and enter a new state. No longer a solid or liquid, we have become as a vapor and will expand to fill all available space. And like a gas, we shall not be easily contained.
