Help converting .wve video blurbs into .mp3 form?

Would anyone be able and willing to help convert the blurbs from the secret projects videos for the Command Nexus and Virtual World into .mp3 form?

I'm not sure anyone knows how.  If you look back on previous pages here, Davyboy did a lot of research into what can be done with the movies.  Kilkakon will probably remember more about that than I do.

Oh you could certainly do some crude physical workaround with playing/recording at the very least...

Try putting it into VLC and saving it/exporting it as a different file there. VLC can play nearly any audio or video clip.

I've managed to convert both the Command Nexus and Virtual World audio from a bink movie in Planetfall.
Placed in attachment, try if it works for you, and is of sufficient quality.

In a ideal world, I would like the background effects removed. However, I doubt that is possible. Otherwise the quality is great.

I could try tinker with the output quality, but I'm essentially using this online converter service to switch from .wav format to .mp3...

The procedure was:

• Convert the audio part of the .bink files to .wav format with RADTools' BinkConverter.
  
• Upload the resulting .wav file to this medio.io service, and let it convert to .mp3 format.
  
• Download the result.
  

Anyway, if you like more tinkering, I could either upload the .wav files for you to do your magic, or adjust the .mp3 convert quality.
But that will be for tomorrow, off to bed now.
