It is also the reason I put it in Modding. Most of this is folks wondering how their factions play as an AI. So, to the outside observer who does not have a "dog in the fight", I could see where it would get confusing :D

I know you had a hand in the big bad boy of it, The Annihilators. That was what you did for Ete.

I do not think you did Antimind or Iron Regime. Antimind is ancient, from the early days of SMAX. Iron Regime is Jarlwof, and I think he does his own stuff. Of course, Tomorrow is Kilk. Jarlwolf did my Exterminatus graphics and I did the .txt.

I think a couple came from my Bases files - but you're always zoomed out far enough that it's hard to be sure.

Next pic, I will zoom in a bit. I have had to zoom out because a lot of the readers are interested in the AI strategy and how they are moving.

Anyways, that air power is helping, but god sooo many troops for The Annihilators.

BU brings up an excellent point though. So often we get tied up in the mechanics so much, we forget about the art.

All the faction bases in here are hand made by someone. It is not easy either to do. For one thing, you need to learn how to draw. Second, with SMAX you can not just draw and go. Everything has to be done with a palette that this game uses and converted into an archaic file type called .pcx.

BU: here is a shot of the Annihilator bases and Procyon bases. I know you recognize the Annihilator's bases. Man that looks sharp. Kind of monolithic.

May I gloat on how my latest baby is schoolin' yo' precious Antimind?

Yep; the Proycron bases are from Galactic Civilizations II, as cut out and pasted into Base6 by yr. humble art guy.

Its not only schooling the Antimind... It is schooling my real baby, the Exterminatus..

BTW... hopefully the theorycrafters do not mind... but yeah, lets look at this art.

Here is Jarlwolf's bases for the Iron Regime, his Fascist faction in his faction pack.

Here is some of Jarlwolf's work with the Exterminatus.

The Exterminatus will be making another appearance in AAR5.

I really should look to see who did it back in the day, but notice the Antimind's bases have fungus growing out of it!

Of course, more Procyon bases around the land mass.

The Regime look vaguely like they could have been pieced together from stuff in Bases3, but I don' reckon now that that's an a'chual fam'ly rezemblence...

Could be. When Jarlwolf gets back in town, I will have to talk to him about those bases. If it is a fascist regime, I am thinking something like off that movie they had about nazis on the moon.

Finally, Tomorrow bases. This was done by Kilk.  Is this any of yours, BU?

Not sure -Kil uses Bases bases, but always modifies them.  But they don't look familiar, except for the slanted antenna.  He would have credited me in the .pcx, if you want to check.

I will at some point. You have had your hands in a lot of things.

The Anihilators are winning, but Exterminatus is not going quietly. Air power destroyed most of the attacking force at Extermination : Inevity. That is, until a locust unit moved in.

The battle at Human : extinct, though is a deadlock. However, numbers keep pouring in and unless Exterminatus gets air power there, I am not sure how long it will hold.
