1 nut/3 mins, solid for an abundant no terraforming needed square. Just wait till they get their hands on some more Centauri techs though :)

Also, could we get a look at the secret projects screen?

Annihilators complete the Planetary Energy Grid.

Meatgrinder on the front lines.

Due to that one Procyon Cruiser's mistake, both the Procyon land bases are now belonging to Annihilators.

hm, pretty poor choices of SPs by the Annihliators even though they have a lot. ME is generally bad, PM is one of the worst SPs, and WP, while usually amazing, is not great when you're mostly using fungus. HGP is handy, but honestly the Exterminatus's one project is probably more helpful than all the Annihilators ones out together, especially considering all the Psi combat that's going on. Edit: PEG is pretty awesome though, will help their energy issues.

Still, I'm betting on the Annihilators now that they've got a bunch of tech. Without that I think they had a fair chance of losing to tech/morale/production power of the Exterminatus, though the antimind hitting them from behind meant that they had a chance anyway.

How's the AntiMind/Usurper area going? Is the AntiMind being a major distraction for the Exterminatus?

Finish more of this in a bit.

Haha yeah--Tomorrow doing its best at what it does, holding on. :D That's why I said if there were a few Plasma Steel guys there they'd be fine. The Exterminatus get insane production and +75% attack but Tomorrow has +150% if you include the free walls and promotions.

Ah well better luck next run Tomorrow, haha~ Going to be interesting to see which overpowered alien faction wins, the water guys, the green guys, the brown guys, or Antimind.

Yeah, Kilkakon, this was by no means intended to be fair at all. Mostly, it is an AI stress test. I did warn you I was looking for cannon fodder as a test to compare power levels and how the AI handles.

I will say I do like the power level of this little test game. It makes me wish I was playing. I have always wondered the 4x community and RPG community's aversion to power gaming. Every now and then, I have to jump off and secretly play an insane map. I really should make more over powered monstrosities and collect more.

I also at some point need to make a Green1 faction that is balanced like the Comrades or your Tomorrow faction. All the cool kids have one.

Man I am not a fan of how the Procyon have positioned almost all of their bases right on top of the central battlezone. Spread out some more guys!

Hoping they snag the Transit system. That could be hilarious with their growth rate.

I have always wondered and never gotten a very satisfactory answer from scenario/faction .txt guys - why not make the opponents OP as part of the challenge?  It seems like a reasonable tool to have in the kit.

I mean, I was in on the most deliberately OP factions I know of - designed as training wheels for newbs, sure, but I've whipped Dan Quayle a few times in SP.  Sometimes you're looking for a challenge.

Speaking of which, I probably need to do a quick check of my alphax.txt. I usually change mandatory retirement year because I hate games that end according to time. I think I had to switch to a clean alphax because I did something to overwrite the last one that did not work. Also, all this alien faction stuff going on has created the equivalent of tech stagnation. Hell, Annihilators are still using recon rovers and two of the factions just got gatling weapons.

On your front, The Exterminatus has been attacking your bases since it is the only faction with any sort of navy so far. Of course, there was that one cruiser that popped a pod allowing some of the Annihilator's advance column just to come over and take your two land bases.. So far you have held out since all of these guys have to concern themselves with bigger issues than the Procyon. You still do have tech on everyone.

Simple. RPG/4x aversion to power gaming. I should write an editorial about that at some point. Actually, I did on some backwater gaming board years back called Gulf Coast Gamers or something like that.

This got me thinking, wouldn't your Green1 Gets Serious faction be a jacked up version of the Believers?
