I hate many things, because I'm a [feminine washing]like that, but the one I'm thinking of now is, I hate comment threads where each post has a little 'nark this mother[intercourse]er out to the mods if he offended your delicate little [intercourse gerund]feelings you pissant you.  Don't just shift your attention to something that doesn't bother you.  No.  Do your best to restrict someone else's freedom of expression, because that's the kind of punk [complaint or disagreeable woman]you are' links in them.

Although I would probably tolerate them better if they were worded like that.

And generally people on this forum will consider a person's opinion and listen to their speak; we have lots of different perspectives here and I can say out of forums I've been part of this is one of THE most mature and cordial group of people I've ever had the pleasure of being on a forum with, so I don't think you'll ever run into the problem of people limiting your expression just due to irrelevant niceties.

So in short, we hate it too- That's why we avoid being pissant washouts in the first place. Only time I'd ever report someone on this forum is if they are an obvious spam bot advertising things.

Tomatoes... If they are not ketchup or pizza sauce they are evil. They are only redeemed through processing. Raw carrots are also Satan's special gifts. Unless they are baked, they make me wretch. McDonald's pickles... I ate good pickles my grandmother used to make out of her garden. Micky Ds pickles are only dill pickle-like constructs that taste nothing like a good pickle should taste like.

I think a lot of what is being referred to in the OP is a need to be "important", have dialogue, and a certain amount of E-respect. Now, that does exist somewhat (like it matters), but depends on length of time in community, producing content, and not POing folks (too much). It takes time and constant activity to integrate into any online deal, whether it is a forum, Youtube, a MMO server, whatever. However, one caveat: E-respect is fleeting. You can have it for a month or two, but it is quickly forgotten as new things come out and things change. This can happen in as little as a month some places.

That said, there may be forums out there that censor things or are cults of personality of the mods and staff, but this place is not one of them.

I feel a little bit alienated now, I actually like tomatoes. Chop up some tomatoes for a dish, maybe even a sandwich, and its nice and crunchy with some flavour. Or if you have it on pizza, etc. (Not a fan of salad though.)

It's okay; my mother likes raw tomatoes.  I actually don't mind a slice on a burger, myself.  It's those undercooked sauces that get my goat.  I try to avoid Italian and Mexican food...

I like carrots and tomatoes raw or otherwise, in salad or out.  It's possible to screw anything up with cooking, and it's possible to mess most raw foods up if you don't know when to pick them or how to store them.


And Lima beans. I forgot they were still considered edible vegetables. Peas and Limas are the worst for instantaneous spoilage.

On the other hand-  eating vegetables is part of the super hero's code, being role models and such.
