A few of those photos remind me of Mylochka's illustrations of Ruth Valley (the huge eyes and long hair). But overall, this is utterly freaky, and no amount of outward tweaking could ever make a racist mind beautiful.

No doubt, no doubt - but I'm interested in the lurker phenomenon (four, IPs seemingly connected to Facebook somehow, were looking at once one time yesterday), the spectrum of reactions people have to her, and the thing we nerds do where we are so irritated by people liking things we don't - as we've discussed somewhat related to (fake) Star Trek fandom.

Why does it bother me that you like Seven of Nine, who appears she could be Ms. Lukyanova's healthier-looking cousin?  Why does it bother you that I think she was the second-most blatant piece of pandering in all of fake ST, and horribly, incompetently, written, to boot?  How does either POV harm the holder of the other?

Where's the harm in Valeria Lukyanova creating herself as an overtly artificial uncanny valley version of beauty?  Why do these things bother us so much?

Unlike this model, Jeri Ryan is an excellent actress, she has a personality, and yeah, she's skinny and has been called "Borg Barbie"... but outside of the most robotic Borg portrayals, Seven of Nine is an interesting character, and Jeri Ryan is a real person.

The model just seems like a really sad, low self-esteem, pathetic little racist with zero personality.
