Patches, patches, patches.. which one are you using right now???

I'm using Scient's patch, partly because I haven't looked at what the other ones do in any detail, partly because I want a patch that only fixes bugs without changing gameplay. I might have an unfair view of the other patches, of course.

I have both the original disks and I got the GOG ones bought as a gift for me.

I haven't looked at the other patches, im just happy I got this game working, I am a simpleton.

Did Scient release his latest version of the patch recently? He was mentioning it was close... I haven't heard anything.

I've never had a lot of trouble with bugs, especially crashes, and you know I like my exploits.

As far ad I can tell, only Scient's patch. Though at some point I have to take a closer look at Kyrub's and Yitzi's work...

Kryrub's SMAX patch PLUS.

In my opinion, the most complete and stable patch so far for the game.

Do not get me wrong, I would prefer a patch by more active and verbal modders like Yitzi, but unfortunately those patches crash. (I should actually be a cool and useful poster and get with Yitzi about that, shouldn't I?)

In my opinion, Kyrub's SMAX patch PLUS should be the official Upatch of this community for not only Scient's bug fixes, but the terraform AI improvements.

I do, however, use GOG unpatched for the MP stuff I have been involved with lately since no one has mentioned any AC2 official Upatch.
