The decision is decimation of the environment or death. And if some hippies complain just do what you did to the Comrades, you're playing Sister Miriam and the Believers, not some pacifistic Gaians.

Yeah... precisely what I am thinking. I am just hoping I can find a way to get X Empath Impact rovers out before Antimind breaks the defenses outside Court Records. Or worse, takes one of the cities of my vassal, the Lawyers. The last thing I want is air power in reach of my empire.

This is fixing to be life or death. A win, or my second loss in an AAR. I do not restart or replay any AARs.

I am glad you and I are of the same mind.

I lost AAR1 and I had a lot of folks comment it was the first AAR they had seen of any game where the player actually lost! Still, it was fun.

This is still FAR from over. If the kind random number gods will give me Synthetic Fossil Fuels then Doctrine : Air Power, I believe I can out match Antimind even if it takes half my empire. I am thinking defense in depth. If I luck up and get a probe in, even better. It is just Antimind usually sends a jet after any probe, land or see, that gets close.

Of course, that will have to wait till tomorrow. I have a few things to put in order later today :)

Well, somewhat of an elastic defense. Antimind still must send columns down long distances. So if Antimind wants to concentrate on Court Records, I will send all the production from War of the Working Man which is not being attacked as hard to flank the column and seek/destroy any attempt to colonize.

Of course, I have A LOT of troops and will try to hold Court Records at ALL COSTS!

Man... I want to play... I love challenging situations. When I get out of this thing I have to attend, MOAR AAR!

MOAR! Sorry.. fell asleep after that meeting.

The Lawyers give us Adaptive Doctrine. Not the tech that really is a game changer for us, but it is better than nothing. Both of us are preparing for a powerful invasion force of horrible things.

Defenses are weakening around Court records, though we have been inflicting damage on the invaders.

Now it is time for chemical weapons which should be ready in 3-4 rounds.

Meanwhile, the second Battle of Court Records begins in earnest as Believer Christian Homeland Defense Forces attempted to try to control the lands around Court Records.

That large mass of fungus to the north though is proving to be a problem as Antimind forces seem to be using it to great advantage!

We push, not letting Antimind remain hidden in the fungus and destroy some of the invaders.

Shock and awe as Antimind air power destroys 2 of our defenders and one Lawyer division in Lawyer territory! There must be a base up there! Not good.

Meanwhile, another Antimind column pushes for War of the Working Man. However, for now our brave forces are making progress slow.

Ironically, the Comrades get the Merchant Exchange! We need to watch them over on that island.

But for now, the war with the monstrous Antimind has our full attention.

We have pushed them out of the fungus fields north of Court Records.

Meanwhile, an Antimind missile infantry unit ambushes an empath rover on the way towards the monument up the road from War of the Working man. We rush the perimeter defense there with the precious little cash we have in our treasury!

As much as I am loathe to talk to the creature, I contact Oblivion to cut a deal. After all, he has suffered at the hands of Antimind as well and I think we can come to an agreement. This is also a brutal, nasty war.

First he asks me for the commlink of that godless Communist pain in my backside, the Crimson Comrades. I agree to that as I need cash.

Then, he asks for Ecological Engineering for Optical Computers. While that tech is not a game changer either, it is the prerequisite for other techs so we agree.

One of the things about Unity Choppers a lot of even veteran players do not know is they are VERY good anti-air units because they have the SAM ability.

A sea transport had popped a pod earlier and now this unit has made it to New Jerusalem. I will let it repair up here, then onward to court records in case Antimind leaves a Missile Needle jet vulnerable.

Those damn Comrades! They hit one of my Impact Foil boats off that island. they now have Merchant exchange and are working on another project. I set one of my bases over there to have a sea probe boat to try to steal some tech from them. Unfortunately, I have little choice but to leave them be as the war with Antimind leaves me with few resources to commit to a full scale naval invasion just right now. Although, if we continue to push Antimind back, we will be visiting soon.
