Topic Reply E-Mail Alert

How come I get an e-mail alert when I reply to a thread?  I know I posted, no alert is needed.  It should come if someone else posts.

To set it on individual threads, while you're in the Reply box, Attachments and other options>Notify me of replies.  There's also a master setting in your user account Modify Profile>Notifications.

I think you misunderstood.  I want to be notified of replies - just not my own.

Regular basis.

such email notification should start with: "A reply has been posted to a topic you are watching by Lord Avalon"
can you forward me such an email?

Hmm, I didn't find any that said my name, so maybe I made an unwarranted assumption.  I would get an email, click the link, and see that my post was the last, and assume that the email was because of my post.

once you are on the forum, the best way to find new replies to your posts is to use the links at the top of the forum:
Show unread posts since last visit.
Show new replies to your posts.
or the little "new" buttons you see on the boards/forums.
