That's EXACTLY what I've tried in the past. Seems the printscreen utility just has a mind of its own and saves the image to a directory rather than the clipboard. As a result it's already saved in a choice of formats, but saved "acidhouse style"

I think so, too; I never had any trouble on XP. Can you just use the [Prt Scr] button, or does Gadwin usurp that? Is there a way to turn Gadwin off? I've never failed on a screenshot problem as long as the user hung in there...

Yeah. I wanted to make sure that applying the SMAC pallette wouldn't fix it. Acidhouse is right.Hmmm. Maybe try googling [Prt Scr] problems for XP?
