I COULD go ahead and incorporate those intermediate ranks...  -But I'd have to wear them, eventually.  What would the icons look like?

So, if I read you correctly, at this moment the rank after 'Transcend' is 'Overmind'?
That planet pic looks nice after Transcend. A tad long though, but okay for the highest level nonetheless.


I'll stroll throught the SMAC artwork a bit, looking for things that might fit such titles as 'Ascendant' and 'Undermind'.


Of course, since you'll always be the highest poster, you're automatically the 'Overmind'.

Right now, it's "Planetary Overmind".  I'm sure you can look up usergroups from your profile or something.

There's still nice stuff in the art folder of SMAC.


First one can be found under asctran_sm
Second icon is under bureau_sm
And the final one is a small part of the file 'interface', on the upper right.


My suggestion would be 'asctran_sm' for Ascendant, and if you choose to implement the title 'Undermind', 'bureau_sm' as to indicate the smallness underneath the 'Planetary Overmind'. Or else the third icon for 'Undermind'.

Oooh.  I was thinking a smaller Planet in the smaller box - and why not still do that - but maybe I can run ^the first two^ together...
