My wife seems to have bronchitis. So she's not well. She tested negative. She may or may not have it.

I'm hoping I turned the corner on it today.  Time will tell.

Today, I had an appointment for a post-Cancer treatment follow up with my Colon-Rectal Doctor (everything was good, by the way) at the Orlando VA Medical Center.  When I had driven in, they had a sign saying that they had Vaccines for age 75+ Vets. 

After my C-R appointment, I headed to see the people at the Infectious Disease Clinic (my HIV docs) to inquire as to when, with me having HIV/AIDs as well as having had several Opportunistic Problems, including Cancer, when I could possible expect to be getting my dose.  They looked over my charts and said that, due to lower turn out at this time, they might be able to stick me today, without needing to jump through any additional hoops to get it.

So, I now have the 1st dose of the Pfizer Vaccine in my left arm and an appointment to get the 2nd in 3 weeks time...

They also gave me an 8 page fact sheet/warning due to the fact that the vaccine IS still under Emergency Use Authorization.  That as well as a sheet to annotate any side effects, for the next 6 weeks after today and especially after the 2nd stick in 3 weeks.  So, I'll need to watch for things for the next 9 weeks or so...

In my community, there's now a gym designated as vaccination center for when the general population will be vaccinated.
Its barely one-and-a-quarter mile from my home. Within biking distance thus.

And I did not actually know that Rusty was Navy, as small a surprise as that is - I don't recall him saying he'd served, and never wondered.  I guess I'm the one who's stupid.
