Orange County Mayor is now requiring ANYONE (unless they are exercising) to wear masks in public!  Starting on Saturday.

Good.  I wish more would go that route. 


I get my test sunday morning.

Disney just cancelled it's Halloween events.  I expect more to follow soon.

California has required masks statewide.  Called up a few National Guard to help with Contact Tracing.  Several casinos that had reopen have closed back down due to a lot of cases related to them.

A little news Today (between 9:49AM to 10:11PM EDT)  in the Apocalypse Channel in the non-gaming section of the WPC Discord Server:

I got the nose swab yesterday as a formality for the surgery (hopefully).  It was generally unpleasant but the hardest thing was trying to keep from sneezing the thing out while they're doing it. 

What's aggravating is that one of the metrics they have been using to justify re-opening things is the low % of positive test results.  So, how many of those negative tests aren't people suspected of anything, but just needing the test as a formality for procedures. 

Numbers continue to get worse.  I really don't understand the resistance to wearing masks.  It's a simple thing and all these people wanting things to go back to normal won't even TRY it.

because it's not the American thing to do... which, IMVHO, is utter Bull Shyt.  But tell that to the person whom claims that they aren't going to be told to wear one, because this is America and it's against their rights...  But what about my right to not get sick because of you BS??  they don't think of that, but want to go to the movies and school and work, but hey, don't make me wear a mask....

That's just it though, No shirt no shoes no service has been a thing forever.  What's so hard about no mask being added to it. 

And I'm not so upset with the general public, at this point, it's people and family that I KNOW.  Whom I would have otherwise considered fairly intelligent.  Spreading [nonsense] about how masks actually make it worse and are dangerous.  Like, you know, because doctors have been dying of CO2 poisoning for YEARS right? 

Had a childhood...there's not a proper term.  My younger brother's best friend, practically another younger brother to me.  Posting how great it was he managed to sneak around costco without a mask despite their requiring one like it was some kind of awesome accomplishment.  Like SERIOUSLY?

This mourning, Lots of coughing and getting sick from possibly my nasal Problems.  But it a bit was extreme, but the stuff was clear,  Started feeling chilled, turned up heat, put on Flannel shirt and started to wear my mask insisde.  After other things that indicated something in the lungs as ell as other things that told me that I had a had a fever.  But I had just dank some really cold water, so the results would be skewed.  I talked to my Ryan White Case Manager (whom I was supposed to make my phone in appointment today as it was) and she directed me to go get tested.

So, I arrived at Orl VA Med Center @ Lk Nona and my fever at the Gate was 105.+F and they directed me to the ER.  Temp was 103.+F and they scraped my brain good!!  I'm currently waiting to see what they do next...

K, update:  NEGATIVE for Covid-19. but they have admitted me for overnight observation and further testing.  Fever is mostly gone.  They also have ruled out Pneumonia.
