To access the new feature you have to select 'Commons -> Quiz from the main forum menu.
You will find in there multiple quizzes from different knowledge areas.

Info: According to a PM from sisko you have to contact him if you want to have a particular icon for your own quiz. Does the picture have to be 64x64 pixels and .png, or is it just a coincidence that all icons so far seem to be that way?

Well, if you run into anything you don't know how to do with icon-making, I'll be glad to take care of it, or better, talk you through it.

We probably ought to stick with 60x60 for consistency, but .gif format works as well or better than .png.

Okay, I noticed that you posted this in an album. 


I tarted it up a little; the white border would look awful against some backgrounds and it's a bit larger this way, too.


(Clearly, we're having a display problem - I dunno why those look so much wider here than in the album.)

I can indeed! It looks a lot better than the original! Let's hope that sisko has the power to change the quiz icon for this one.

Odd.  I can see it in the post with my no-powers test DL account, and it looks the same; all stretched and wrong.

If you want to help with icons you could make a generic SMAC icon, to be used for all SMAC-related quizzes (I'm sure I'll make one or two some day). Perhaps some kind of generic "music", "books" and "movies" icons would be good as well - that way a new upload wouldn't be necessary when making a quiz in one of those categories.

How annoying.  I finally found how to change the icon, and the hoops I had to jump through ended with the transparency not working...
