Spring forward, Fall back
« on: March 13, 2018, 01:06:31 AM »
I'd meant to do this yesterday, but I wanted to point out on behalf of everyone who cares what time displays on posts ---
your profile>Look and Layout>Time Offset: (is the fourth line on the page, near the top.)

If you've gotten your correct local time zone entered in your profile -and it's been enough years I don't remember where/if you do that, or have to trial&error the offset from GMT starting out- the (auto detect) function should work but doesn't always - if you're seeing posts an hour wrong because of savings time having just changed and (auto detect) doesn't work - gosh, it worked for me just now, but you can just add or subtract by one in the text box manually.  (EDT is -4.  Your time zone may vary.)

-Have a good time y'all!

It is altogether fitting that we who have sailed the deeps of space now return again to the sea. This is in many ways a water planet, and it can be ruled from the waves. With sea power, rugged terrain can be bypassed and enemy strongholds isolated. Once naval superiority is achieved, Planet is ours for the taking.
