How fast is your hair coming out so far?

My Gramma spent almost a year looking like a pink Yoda with an ear bob.  Never knew before that how much she and her baby brother Carl looked alike.

Gramma had a tumor under her left eye and ended up losing all between that eyebrow and the roof of her mouth, roughly a quarter of her face, and yuck, right?  And there were annoying medical complications involving snot you wouldn't automatically expect, and the eye prosthesis took a little getting used to, but partly hid well under glasses -and she actually looked better, the rest of her life, losing a lot of weight that stayed off, and stopped dying her hair yellow- and she lived a happy and productive life for another 20 years and died in her 80s of age-related, no cancer ever again...

Actually, they said that I was likely to NOT lose any hair, but we will see.

Better now that I was able to do some much needed flushing of the brown, due to not being able to shower while having the pump in/on me...  The Kemo side effects is also helping, as the bowel is loosening up and had several movements Friday (small, but there) in over a week...  I had also taken a Magnesium Citrate on Thursday...

or was that a buttload too much???  (you did ask)


Thing is, this is not going to go away overnight, especially the size it is (hello, 9 cm.... ).  It is going to be a while.

Dude, way too early for anything except for side effects from treatment.

I have had to switch from Stool Softeners/Laxatives to Anti-diarrheals, if that tells you anything....

Considering, that they will NOT have the post treatment follow up PET Scan until AUG/SEPT (when last Radiation treatment is May 4), to see if the treatment regiment was good or not....

Momma says -I asked for the first time last week- that she had to go a little more often, with 2/3rds the colon as before, but no change in texture or anything, and it's really almost entirely like the problem was never there.  The doctors were pretty doogon happy with how it went.
