Crash rendering my game unplayable in version 3.5 of Yitzi's patch

I'm attaching a save file that consistently crashes for me after one or two turns.

I assume the crash has something to do with a fungal bloom, as the crash occurs right after I get the notification about one. Hopefully someone can replicate this and figure out what the problem is.

I'd really like a fix, as this is a completely gamebreaking crash for me. I can try downgrading versions, if anyone thinks that might work. But otherwise, I'm pretty much stuck.

Actually... i encounter the same problems like yours in recently... by version 3.5 of Yitzi's patch ...
The random incident {Fungal blooms} so terrible    , can't figure out anything trick to avoid the horrible crashing neither ...

In addition , sorry for the asking ... when you click the hot key F6 , does the game running normally ?

Overall ... when i running the game by version 3.5 of Yitzi's patch ... and click the hot key F6 , the game crash suddenly ... 

I test your savefile for Morgan , unfortunately , in the game by version 3.5 of Yitzi's patch , i encounter the same crash ...

and i test again in the SMACX Original Edition (Mac Edition , GOG) , the game running to the next round without any crash ... everything is in working order

I saw your thread. However, hitting F6 does not crash the game for me. It works fine.

Also, I managed to avoid the crash by downgrading to 3.4b of Yitzi's patch. But this is obviously not an ideal solution!

I'm trying to get ahold of Yitzi - he's very good about fixing problems like this, but RL has been keeping him from checking the forum often this year...

Confirmed (not F6 issue, though). Segmentation fault.

Recommend you use Yitzi 3.4 for now.

In this case , the F6 is a problem by myself ... (or my windows ... )

By your reply , i'll try to downgrade to 3.4b by also, it seems a temporarily solution in currently ... hope to 'cure' & get back my F6 ...

I can't reproduce the F6 issue. If downgrading doesn't help, come back and tell me what OS, SMAC version and patches you're using.

1.SMACX GOG edition in Mac OS X EI Capitan , running in Wineskin , just official 2.0 upgrade patch , without any unofficial patch:
F6 is OK.
but incident {Fungal blooms} crash the game ...

2.SMACX GOG in Windows10 , VMware Fusion 8.5 for Mac , version 3.5 of Yitzi's patch:
F6 Crash...
and incident {Fungal blooms} stall crash the game ...

3.SMACX GOG in Windows10 , VMware Fusion 8.5 for Mac , version 3.4(and 3.4b) of Yitzi's patch:
F6 is OK.
and incident {Fungal blooms} still crash the game ...

4.SMACX GOG in Windows10 , VMware Fusion 8.5 for Mac , just official 2.0 patch , without any unofficial patch:
F6 is OK.
and incident {Fungal blooms} still crash the game ...

it looks like ... the primary trouble is crash by incident {Fungal blooms} in version 3.5 of Yitzi's patch .
Vox Imperatoris encounter the same problem ...

F6 crash is minor bug , i think , if no one can reproduce it at all , it is just personal crash in 3.5 of Yitzi's patch ... probably ...
we can ignore it ...
