I had the Kittens Born random event trigger IRL yesterday right before I saw this - has anyone had a look at it yet?

I'm really struggling to like Qin's design. 

I think it's that the whole skull is nonsensical.  I mean, I get they are caricatures, but there is enough off there to really bother me.  Haven't run into the issue with the others...

Just looking at the video cover image, I couldn't imagine the character design exactly winning any racial sensitivity awards, either.

Well, in their defense, they post the inspiration pic for their design in the video... and they nailed it, but there are better sources people.  Especially when translating into the 3rd dimension.

They probably need to keep in mind a certain Buddhist influence on eastern portraiture, where if a ruler's image could be credibly cheated over in a bodhavista-looking direction w/o wrecking the likeness entirely, they would.  That could even apply to pre-Buddhist leaders where what we have is later portrayals, and any likeness would have been less of a concern...
