One should convert a ray-tracer from photons to gravitons and try some shadow-theory-of-gravity predictions of the solar system.  External sphere as an emitter of cosmic-background-gravitons and voxel "opacity" for the solar system bodies.  Perhaps some odd shaped asteroids from rosetta misson.

...You'd need Jeri Ryan to make that work...

;aki; or perhaps a TinyCC? That should be in the "Well Plan9 ed ..." mister thread perhaps?

Perhaps you'd have to use, y'know, real science.  Let's not infect the sorta serious threads with the gibberish.

Once one has a nice Ai mind, it then starts to interact with teens.. then all sorts of junk is in its brain.

Per Seus, you've been asked nicely to stick to discussing the topic, which means real-world science. Not mysticism, not AI, not whatever gaming references you may be using (I take your use of SMAC icons to mean you're using a gaming reference).

BUncle is known for his patience. I'm not.

...

I hate to do this to someone who's entertained me so, but nobody calls Valka a complaint.  24 hour vacation, and final warning to keep the gibberish in your own threads.

*puts on Moderator's hat for a moment*

I've done a little housekeeping in this thread, and ask that we please stick to the topic. Lorizael has been generously sharing his knowledge with the forum, and it's disrespectful to him and everyone else who is interested in a serious discussion of astronomy/cosmology to go off-topic. Thank you.

Well, I finally got around to mentioning this thread in that silly discussion over at CFC. Berzerker hasn't replied to my post yet about the issue of Earth not being formed in the asteroid belt.

Yeah. This is certainly not the first time a thread like this has come along, and it's just mentally painful to read most of it.

I would not be optimistic about the odds of changing Berz's mind, btw.
