Circumstances prevented me from seeing the entire series. Things are different now; maybe I'll watch it all before January.
Two possibilities exist: Either we are alone in the Universe or we are not. Both are equally terrifying. ― Arthur C. Clarke

SO - didn't this come and go already months ago?

I'm confident it being either very good at all or very bad at all would have resulted in webs geeks talking about it where I'd have tripped over - but it's hard to believe -HA!- it happened at all without webs geeks getting worked up.

Can anybody comment?

Um.  I watched...3 episodes?

Episode 1:

SUCKED ROYALLY.  Ok, it wasn't up my alley to begin with (I prefer the monster of the week to the alien BS), but everyone looked like they were uncomfortable, wooden.

Episode 2:

More alien BS.  Felt a little better, trying to get some themes going for the new series.  I don't particularly care for the route they had Mulder going down.  (it's not the aliens, it's the gubment!!!)

Episode 3:

Monster of the week show of the comedic variety.  Kind of a reverse werewolf thing, with a beast being forced to turn into a human.  Clever, well done, goofy, but I still couldn't bring myself to like Mulder.

These were watched back to back, and brought me up to speed at the time of watching.  I wasn't moved enough to set up the DVR, and haven't really had the free time since to look into it more (having moved on to other shows I prefer for background noise).

It is altogether fitting that we who have sailed the deeps of space now return again to the sea. This is in many ways a water planet, and it can be ruled from the waves. With sea power, rugged terrain can be bypassed and enemy strongholds isolated. Once naval superiority is achieved, Planet is ours for the taking.
