Plaster will plug its own holes in the containment, if it's not super-thin, especially when added to previous dry plaster that sucks up the water in a hurry.

Anyway, the pour of more plaster thickness worked as I'd hoped, without leaks, and with pretty good shape.

My motivation has absolutely tanked after 2 years of covid-cancelled plans.  To the point I flat out HAVEN'T planned on anything.  There's a thing I want to finish, and will bug me if I don't get to it, but it's mostly shopping for stuff rather than making. 

Kind of focusing those efforts into cooking and yard changes...I actually could see retiring from Halloweenery for most of the year being in my future.

You can imagine that I'd have some motivational problems w/ bipolar disorder in the mix.  FWIW, I'm eager  to see what you've done/do.

In the planning stages for xeriscaping the front yard.  This will include more standing stones, though I haven't found an arrangement that speaks to me yet.

Well not that I need to tell you this, but there's art to just decorating and maintaining the yard, if you do it right.  I wish my aunt Pokey was rich - at about 78, she doesn't feel up to the work of landscaping, which is -she's genius at it- a pity.  She needs to hire someone to do the work under her supervision, wherever she lives.

Remember to mix in as much pretty as you can - hEt and the neighbors have to look at it...

Well, I have a list of what I'd LIKE to put in for the xeriscaping, and I'm sure it will just absolutely shock you that it is so off the wall I can't even FIND the damn plants for sale.  I might have to go acquire them in the wild, since it's all native natural, would require 0 additional water stuff.

My milkweed and raven grass already require 0 additional watering so it just makes sense to keep with that theme. 

I might split out some more raven grass.  My butterfly bushes are very low watering and can be split, I have some burning bushes the side of the house that if I can manage to transplant would make good show pieces if I can shape and let go wild, which would be zero water needed.  I've really already got a LOT of the pieces ready to go on site, I just need some stuff under 5' tall to add  contrast.
