...Mylochka has half a million vids on YouTube but most of them are tutorials for Daz/Poser computer art.  Now I gotta go find her account and search though to find painting videos and present her with a list of links - she seems amenable, if not enthusiastic, about adding linkbacks to http://alphacentauri2.info/JKStudio/

-Also, she says I should make slide show videos in Windows Movie Maker of the pages I've written up my process.  Lame, but a dedicated JKStudio account would be a good thing for my SEO purposes...

Still on this, of course.  Just applied another uncut layer - then spritzed with a little water to encourage the surface to smooth.  It's a job, latexing this, because the face has a bunch of fine details I don't want filled in/smoothed out, and the crap around the eyes -and the join of the cobra to the headband, and the cobra's face- doesn't leave a lot of room for my finger to fit between.  Soldiering on...


I'm, dunno, about halfway through creating a page for Mylochka's convention presentation, starting over 24 hours ago.  I'm not much of a touch typist, so getting her text down is a slog.  -Still, I've finally worked out the layout, maybe.  The work goes slowly, but it does go...

Time to upload all the re-indexed pages; the new page has met with Dr. Mylochka's total approval, including my intro and about-the-author, layout, and also minor proofing/re-writing and insertion of a pic of myself mask-making - she says she'd have actually used it there if she'd had it seven years earlier.


I got M to dig around for material for the deceased webpages for both the shows she did that I masked.  She found something a couple of disks for Touring Mayaland that I'm soon to inspect.  I think she's come down with gonna-be-crazy-until-I-find-it for the Frida Kahlo show stuff.

She also also stumbled over some material from the mask workshop that followed the lecture I just made a page of - I haven't been through all the text files, but only two pics are of someone with a mask in the shot, and they're small and they're her.  I'll add them to the text about her at the bottom, but feeling a little disappointed so far...

Well, I got a cute set of five pics of her lecturing out of it, to put in a row right over the about the author crap I put at the bottom - and the first word of the name of the conference I'd missed in her physical notes.

I. will. be. John. Browned. if there isn't -allegedly- a video of the entirety of Touring Mayaland, and if 45 minutes ago wasn't the first I've heard about it.

If she can find it, and if she can transfer it to a computer - screenies off 20 year-old video will certainly suck, and not just a little, but we can upload to YouTube and embed, that gives us enough visual -along with maybe some screenies possibly shrunk pretty small for crispness- to make a viable page that isn't just a wall of text.  We were both there, and can easily generate text, though she was looking for her director's notes when I left.

Apparently, WMM can make the slides for me, but I've no idea how to get it to do that - so making screenies.  Ain't nobody going to be able to read my verbose pages as a video -and my pages don't do variable width/wrap- but I can link the page in the description and urge viewers to go read it the way it was designed for...

Bad content is better than no content, and YouTube SEO and all that...

-Soundless test video that requires pausing to read -unless you read several times faster than me, and you don't- but it's legible and the wipes work.  Takes three minutes and change to load, but the runtime's only 2:48 if you don't pause to read the whole thing - according to what Mylochka thinks, I want to maybe just leave it too fast and use the description to advise viewers to follow the page link and read it the way it was designed to be read...  The object is traffic to the site, after all, not YouTube views...
