I quick-dried w/ low heat a half hour in the oven, trimmed the perimeter, and a layer of edge strips that lap the back are currently drying.

It's a very thin coat of spray-paint - I wanted the goldenness, but to avoid a presumed tendency to interfere with the latex coat bonding.  Coincidentally, Mylochka and I have said "paint" to each other today; it was her paint, and she has offered me the use of some stone texture paints, which is some binary thing in two cans she'll have to teach me.  She's trying to get out of painting eventually, of course, but spray-paint, I will do.  I told her the two Mars Faces I've mached need to be red sandstone, by the nature of the thing, but future Johnhotep masks would look magnificent in most any stone texture/color, like statuary.

Buster showed up right after supper, and spent about two hours on her lion...

My website is some pretty bizaar top hits in search engines.  It annoys a lot of companies. 

I'll have to look next time I'm into the back end.  I'm not even sure I still have a links page, but I can certainly go find all the posts and linky to that site in the posts that mention/tag you. 

I actually filled my camera on vacation, so trying to edit up pics to post as it is.

I've been processing photos for posting, myself.

Here, I started off with a layer of uncut, in hopes it'll bond better and be sturdier until I've built up thick enough that it's not accident-prone.

It's almost dry already, and before bed I'll follow up with lightly-diluted.  I'd like to reduce the number of coats needed, but thinner smooths itself out better - it's a balance.  My early work after I started latexing my bases got some pretty gnarly cumulative surfaces, using only uncut...

Mylochka used my email when she was setting up the DeviantArt account - I have several setup and change password emails from them in late 2011, but the links are stone dead and the site doesn't recognize the email now.  Their login interface isn't very intuitive, either.  I can't tell if it's basically a dead account now, or what.  Pity if she can't figure out how to get in; it does well in search engine hits, as does two mentions on your blog, and the thread on the Halloween forum.  -I need to log in at the Halloween forum...

H Forum is on my [poop] list of late, but yes, they do well in searches, and my link in my sig there does well as a result.  My only better spot is at Pumpkinrot...but he's gone dark since early June.

I need to move forward on making a page from Dr. Mylochka's academic conference presentation on masks - I've saved the pics from the powerpoint, and found out the lousy OCR on the current printer makes .pdfs that I can't copy/paste from, so I have to re-type the lecture - but it's only six pages of large print.  It's sorta lightweight stuff, but it's legit academia, and I bet I can place at least one viable link on Wikipedia.  That would be two of the triumvirate of sites that are everywhere, since I'm already working Facebook.

If I got her to linkback from a relevant painting YouTube video or two -and give them a page on the site for good measure- we'd have a hat-trick...  Probably ought to talk her into doing it with whatever painting vids there are, since getting her to make anything new is unlikely...
