I mostly have the originals.  I have two molds -the Buster bust and the original Barbie w/ round 60s mawmaw hair- curing and that'll make eight different figures, plus variations in color and scent.

...I was thinking while I sat on the porch of Dog City during the evening cat spoiling about an hour ago, that I love doing the little figures, but as a hobby that's not selling much at the gallery, masks have considerably lower overhead for supplies/materials.  -I'm ahead on plaster and latex, and glue/flower is very cheap, newspaper can be gotten for free - on the other hand, I'm running out of wax and scent, and I already used up the $22 worth of AMP since I got it the other day, plus the frustration/waiting factor of the molds taking so long in latex only to tear up so quickly is higher than the various aspects of mask stuff...

Now, the candles will probably draw infinitely more attention when there's eight different figures, and it's a horse of a different color if/when they start selling - meanwhile, you had me thinking about a pig snout when I ran out of motivation to create at the end of last year.  I still haven't finished Ramses, and I'm wanting to do a third hairstyle Barbie bust -on the actual doll this time- but I'll agonize through latex molds when I get to them - I'm getting some inklings about how to adjust the originals to reduce strain on the molds...

So I think I'll go back to masks while the urge to create is still with me this time around.  Maybe it'll shame Mylochka into actually doing her part and finally painting something...

That blue plasticine sticks to everything but itself.  I need to go wash my hands.

Some detailing and cleanup tomorrow, and I can start the mold and feel insanely impatient again for over a week...

Mineral oil helps with plasticine stickiness.  A little goes a long way though.

You're a sharp fellow.  Yes; I thought of doing it in two pieces.  The body in a plaster doughnut as a holder w/ a stem/candle that sits in the middle.

The art appears to represent a personal project, and the people deserve the ability to produce the necessary happiness for the problems in society. The present manipulation of the dolls represent a serious potential for artistic talent, and the people always need the artists to inspire the population with the appropriate material for the population. The current trend of distribution represents a simple matter of the pitiful reality about the irreconcilable contradictions in the current capitalist society, but the people need to reconsider the potential exploitation from the origin of the products in the creation of a luxurious product.

Any suggestions on how to patch a tear in a thin spot?  I had trouble getting it out of the mother mold, which I probably have to remake if I can fix the mold...
