On the contrary, I HAVE used an original centipede machine....
Otronicon at the Orlando Science Center had one. That was a pretty boring con, but at least it had that. Also had Frogger, TMNT, and "Klax" arcade machines.

And it is wacky to play.

oh, and is it just me, or is there something a bit creepy about a mid-40 year old sitting in an arcade alone?  Can't really say he was necessarily WATCHING us, but he seemed to find something to play on whatever aisle we were on till other kids showed up.

It would seem to me that a middle-aged single guy legitimately there to relive his glory days or get his fix on his favorite game wouldn't have eyes for anything else but the game.It's no place to hang out if you're not an employee or proprietor.

Anything else sounds suspiciously... disreputable.

Looks more skull/skeletal than mummy to me. 

Though...that appears to be foreign debris in the eye socket...doesn't track with nerve/eye remains.  Something nest in this guy's head?

COULD be hair in the eye socket, but I'd sooner believe it was whatever the headband is made of.  No reason to run either through the eye socket though, there's plenty under the skull to tie off on.  That's why I was wondering if a mouse turned that headband or clothing into nesting material.

Hard to say, but it looks like that eye socket might be room for one mouse, but not a nest, unless said mouse was incredibly small.
