A week ago I attended a show featuring Alton Brown( food expert, chef, and host of numerous TV shows ) . It was a two hour show which ran 2:55 due to delays for laughter and applause. He was telling us how great his relationship was with his daughter until puberty.  "Boys get stupid. Girls develop multiple personality disorders."

I thought the nomer was "boys you can train as they start wild, girls become wild as they start civilized"?

I don't that saying, but your cultural awareness is different than mine.

Probably. At least, I'm not aware of MPD's in the majority of the local ladies.
But a significant percentage of the local boys avoid/refuse social potty-training.

What is your opinion on bunnies, Uno?

I must see if you're as evil as they say....

I knew DeForest (Dr. McCoy) Kelley was in Night of the Lepus, but not Paul (Dr. Piper) Fix...

I remember seeing that as  a late movie during the summer on tv as a kid, featuring Stewart Whitman, who was the star of the TV western "Cimmaron Strip."

Speaking of kids, the horror was the kid's fault as he tried to protect his favorite lab rabbit, ( and  released it into the wild?) .

You say Lepus,
And I say Lupus,

... funny how those two names are so close.

Once upon a time my avatar was a skinned rabbit....

Night of the Lepus is one of those lovely 70's horror shows that was attempting to get some social message across through really BAAAD horror movies.  There was actually a serious rabbit problem across much of the west at the time (as well as other countries) and several controversial methods proposed for controlling them from birth control to viruses.  Hence the premise of the film that whatever the scientists tried backfired:  Message, don't muck with nature.

With Hammer cranking out flicks in full production in the 70s and raking in $ hand over fist, other studios tried to capture some of the market, and would routinely tell writers that submitted a script to turn it into a horror movie.

It's Alive is probably the most celebrated example, where it was proposed as an insightful drama about a family learning to cope with a child born with deformities, both mental and physical, and the struggles of being accepted in society....  Instead, we ended up with a baby murdering everyone in the delivery room after chewing/clawing it's way out.

Took her to an arcade and taught her pac-man and air hockey before she moved on to trying-for-ticket games.

Broke a couple strength tester games....
