Well, the super extended forecast has our annual storm coming on Monday, October 28, clearing for the party/halloween, and descending into storms again by the 2nd.  COLD halloween by the looks of it.  It's too far out to make plans, but lets hope one of those storms doesn't slip into the key times...

Been doing some research, that freak stem is definitely a "wolf" pumpkin.  Unfortunately, it's a poor candidate for my garden, as they have an unusually large vine, requiring larger spacing, and a longer growing time than more traditional varieties.

Taking count, we have 83 tea lights, so I wanted to place a new order so I don't have to use the floralytes.  They work for some things great, but are not as good for the pumpkins.

Racking my brain. 

Watching the Village again on TV.  I've always wanted to build one of the creature costumes. 

Originally the notion was to just wander the neighborhood in the costume scaring the bejeebus out of kids.  Wondering how I could work the yard around the idea.

2 more breathing grave frames built, motors wired, gotta go to the hardware store to get some parts for the arms (COULD have grabbed it from Lowes/home Depot today, but prefer to support the local mom and pop).  Kyle's costume at 90%.  Alec's is mostly a makeup job.  Having second thoughts on what I started for me.  Mold finished, lawn cut and fertilized.  Load of reed grass hauled in.  May as well slap a little somethin up, but don't start the real setup for some time yet.  Debating going after more grass.

Gotta love October.  Keeps ya hoppin'.
