The lazy I give up just throw a movie screen on it solution is a home run with ages ~3-6.  Have to find a permanent home for that.

This years preference:  doughnut>pixie sticks>chocolate>soda>chips

Halloween (for those who do it here) fell in the water. It didn't rain last night, it poured.

2/3 of my kids questioned me for backlighting the corn.  It goes against the general rules I lay down for the yard, but in this case, it was specifically to hide the projector behind the arch as your eye catches the green wall rather than the projector glow behind.  So effective I had many adults asking how we were doing the arch movie as they couldn't tell it was a projector...which should have been obvious. 



The wing walls are new to the arch this year, and it will make a fabulous entrance eventually, but it also makes a great stage.

And, yeah...There was something about the silly movie that absolutely transfixed kids about 3-7 years old.  There's singing and dancing skeletons, and they'd dance along and cry if their parents tried to make them move on.

Someone made a campy indy remake of the movie that inspired me to get into Halloween as a child!  Actively looking for where to view it.  (the original so bad 8 year old me thought I could do just as good)

Impressive on it's own, the use of it as essentially a cornice bracket is quite ingenious.  My house doesn't really fit that style, but would love to see someone make a bunch of these.

I acquired a disc of Godzilla 2014 at a thrift store recently (I heard it was much less terrible than the thing with Matthew Broderick).  That seems like the sort of thing you might have opinions about, Uno.  Do you, and if so, what are they?
