Random crap with Uno.

Unseasonably warm (60-70) so working outside, carving out foam for a rock wall I'm making. 

I'm getting the usual mix of amused or annoyed glances as people walk by. 

Voice from behind me.

"Alright, so what are you working on?"

(I don't recognize the person, but that doesn't mean a whole lot)  "Halloween, actually." 

"oh....." a dawning realization flickers in her eyes  "OH!   You must be the DOX's!  I've HEARD about you.  That explains the bones then."  (The dino tree's bones are still littered in the yard)

I never really understood why the ‘dOx abbreviation stuck on Halloween sites.

When I first got on forums years ago, Uno was already UnOrthOdOx...and since our very equal relationship/partnership is fairly uncommon where we live but well known through his forum posts, I felt like ithe screen name hEtErOdOxwas an awesome way to represent both my individuality as well as my absolute partnership with UnO.  We’ve been best friends/partners/soulmates since we were 17 years old...and as I’m constantly reminded by our adult children living their lives, we’re old now, but even more connected than we were at 17.

Not everyone is lucky enough to find their person at 17... and not every woman is lucky enough to find a life partner who was both able and willing to pick up the pieces when I lost my parents, and pretty much fell apart. He did. 💜

Something odd going on - the background is not black, and the logo -still not the transparent one- is cut off to read "An Unorthodox Hall".

Yeah, it's been doing that off and on, and I don't know why. 

I just barely got the home computer back a bit ago and have been trying to piece IT back together, which I have a limited patience for.

I think I'm figuring out most of the computer stuff. 

Essentially I used to have 2 drives but one of them was going bad and the other had errors on it but was still working.  Well, instead of listening to me properly and just fixing the bad one (that only had windows) they transferred both drives to a new solid state drive and it's really fubarred everything. 

Cracking the damn thing open myself tells me they really had no choice as the new drive would only fit where my old mechanical drive used to be, but with only one drive now, while they saved all the data off my old D drive, all my file paths are still pointing to a non-existant D drive.  I'm able to fix this by manually remapping it looks like, but it's a one at a time nightmare.  (I'm sure you could write something automagic but I'm not that good a programmer)

Well, the site's back to normal for me...

So I found some zombies for project caerbannog but they bring with them a dilemma.

They don’t fit in the skull eggs...but they do in the stuffed jeebus eggs.  So is it offensive to open an egg with jeebus surrounded by zombies?  And does it get more or less offensive if I print Matthew 27:53 and put in with them?

Narrowed it down to a particular plugin causing the problems on the website.  Unfortunately it's my anti-spam one...and I generally need it/need a replacement.  Seems I can manually fix it with a deactivate/activate cycle...but that's not going to be sustainable.
