Got any good guides on Tech researching tips and hints (picking what research). I've almost always done blind research and have zero experience in that area. Thanks, great site you've got here.

Thanks I'll have a look at them. It's ashame that more people dont even know about it these days (yea I know it's old) To me this game is more than just a game. I was already into science and such at age 10 and this just cemented my love for sciency things and learned so much from it. Watching the intro was pretty much comparable to watching the Homeworld game intro, just amazing..

Got here looking for my first PBEM after years and years playing Single Games, I still enjoy this greatest game ever made.

I'm Pentalarc, artistic weirdo, metal head, and big smac/smax fan.

Primarily a faction builder, as designing new factions is sort of my thing.  Y'all might remember me as one of hte guys who did factions on the old Network Node site.  I was the one known for the "evil" factions.

Thanks for hte welcome.  I plan to repost all my factions that I did as soon as I get the chance to get htem transferred over from one computer to the other (or when I get an internet connection that works with my old computer, which should, actually be only a couple of days.

Not sure where to put them though, most of them are only the designed text files, no graphics.  Unfortunately, I don't have any talent for graphics.

Collaborating sounds great. . . I didn't want you to think I was just trying to get graphics.  Some of mine got graphics on Network Node, so I might repost those too . . .  I'm not sure if anyone would have any problems with that.  I set them up with other graphics (changing the flag colors was about all I could do, not that it always worked. . .)
