These are out there for the community. Don't ask to use them, just make sure to include my name somewhere in what you're doing.

If there is not a download link for the ZIP file of a faction, that means it is not ready.

These are the factions that are meant to be a real part of the Alpha Centauri universe. The ones I'll write a real lore too.
I hope you enjoy using my factions. Go ahead and give me some feedback if you want, I'll read it.
I'm very new here, so these are my first real mods (besides my first test faction).

ChocolateTeapot from fanfiction.net helped me out a lot with the faction .txt and lore.

Alright, but first here is the logo:
The idea is a cyborg faction, although less so than the Consciousness. Inbetween the University and Spartans.
Cyborg technology connects all who live in this nation to the Command Web.
A branch is located at every base, and data is transfered if one is lost. The Command Web is in essence a high-tech datalink system. If you are on the Command Web, you can pull yourself into a state controlled by your brain without any distractions, or mistakes. Of course, not everyone can do this unless you are a higher-up. In essence you can either use it like an internet from person-person rather than machine-machine, or you can use it to disconnect from yourself for a time. This allows for increased research (+1 Research). The battle mode that is downloaded to the military makes their normal morale seem like a +1 to us (+1 morale). Unfortunately, this creates a limited economic system, as many do not need supermarkets and such. It is all distributed, through Web Leaders. It is a bit controlled, but if you want to do it another way nobody stops you from creating that Food Mart you've been dreaming about.
At least that's the idea.
If you wanted to crash the Web, that would be nigh-impossible. "keys" are held by one person in every Cyborg base, and one spy/citizen in every other faction.

If I'm to recommend any of my factions, it's this.
Although his last name is Fuller, the leader of this faction is a child. Therefore he is called by his first name.
Stuck in youth by a flaw in early cryosleep, Head Designer Ron is now a child forever. Almost all citizens of his civilization have chosen the same path. They are engineers in the Creche Union and they are very good at research.

Alright, since pack 1 is a bit less serious with all the factions except maybe RR and BFB I'm going to store it here. Wouldn't want the first impression to be "Dang, this guy likes Star Wars".

Anyway, these are just the random graphics and text files I put together, and not all of them are finished, nor do I plan to work on them again. WIP usually means it will be finished within a week, assuming I posted the graphic for it, but I won't gurantee anything.
With that said, some of these are fun factions that you can definetly play a game with. But you might want to take a look at the .txt file if you know how.

Pack 1
The sentences/base names/ insults and such are subject to change, as I am not the best at writing them.
Most of these in pack 1 are joke factions, not ment to fit into the lore or be played more than a few times.

Keep in mind, most of these are not meant to be taken seriously"Clone Factions"
Technically "The Apple" is not a clone faction, but it fits this category well anyway.
Actually, these might not all be jokes in the Clone section.

Using the DNA from Earth's Ronald Reagan, a clone was created of the famous president. A cunning leader.

This guy is all about economy and industry. Right to work. He supports democracy, but hates thought control.
I really lucked out when I happened to find that capitol building to use as a base, I must say.

The way Hitler came about is the same story as Reagan. In my opinion this faction fits best with the ones ingame compared to the others I have finished.

I got the graphics for this from Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds. I'm honestly surprised that nobody has used them before, as the angle is perfect, and it is set in a sci-fi environment.

If I'm to be perfectly honest with you, this is probably the laziest faction I have posted. No scanlines, and I think the border color is the black that you get when you just leave it purple. It's still fun, but I don't know what I was thinking with the part about no Doctrine: Flexibility at the start. You can have a good time, but you might want to tweak it if you know how.

Led by Boss Nass, this aquatic nation should be some good fun to play as if you want something different.
You will have to let the other factions build up a bit before your conquest, as you won't start with the blueprint for a Foil.

The idea behind this is that Earth was not the only planet in the Sol system with their eyes on Chiron. The "C-Species" of Mars (Who live underground the surface of Mars) needs a "habitat", and since they are such a large group take to the stars to capture Chiron.

Wouldn't say its a futuristic "iron curtain" faction. Its not even Soviet, rather revolutionary communist faction that follows along a confederalized, militaristic Marxist revolutionary state.

They have a wiki for custom facs? Alright, I'll make a page for Reaganites, although I likely won't finish it today.
Also, the picture I put up isn't showing. Do you know an easy explanation as to why, or should I ask Ete?

In all seriousness though- faction idea to balance this one out, what about something environmental?

Also, could you post the stats of each faction? Like their social bonuses and flaws.
