Boo hoo! While I'd be happy to part with $5, I'm not sure I want all the weird new stuff in SMAX just yet in my games. I'll just stick with kyrub's patch for now and use a personal rule that punishes eco damage a bit harsher.

Tell him that all the new stuff in SMAX, except for fungal towers, can be removed via alphax modding.

Do the in game blurbs appear in the datalinks for facilities? In other words, under the in game help section "Base Facilities", do the blurbs appear? If they do not, I may have found how to make them appear.

The leader quotes?  No, they do not, IIRC.

That might really be a thing worth doing.

In addition, I will work on getting the new SMAX facilities quotes written down in the blurbsx.txt file and then post them to the council room board under "Random Quotations". The problem that caused them not to appear was that they did not write the line below each facility name as "HELPFAC(NUMBER)". Instead they originally left them as "FAC(NUMBER)".

The finished version of the file is attached to this post and ready for use by those who are interested. This version has all of the facilities, including the SMAX facilities. I needed to type out the blurbs for the SMAX facilities.
