Artillery duels with friendly units

I think I've figured out all the conditions under which this strange bug occurs.

1. A player must have two (or more) stacks of artillery.

2. An artillery unit from the first stack attempts to bombard an improved tile (e.g. tidal harness, mining platform, kelp farm, etc.).

3. This improved tile must be in neutral or hostile territory.

4. This improved tile must be outside of any city's two-tile radius.

5. This improved tile must be within bombardment range of the second stack of artillery.

5. The first stack must be within bombardment range of the second stack.

6. If bombardment fails, nothing unusual happens. If bombardment "succeeds", a friendly artillery from another stack will counter-attack the bombarder!

The counter-attacker absolutely wins the duel because the initial bombarder suffers a devastating -100% hasty penalty (unless it is a spore launcher). The counter-attacker cannot be damaged (unless the duel is with a spore launcher).

There is no limit on counter-attacks. A single "scrambling" Impact Battery can destroy twenty friendly bombarders without suffering a scratch itself, should the controlling player not realize the futility and insanity of the situation.

Edited condition #5. Arty can't counter-attack if the range of the duel would be greater than two (using default settings for artillery range).

Thank you; I've been meaning to deal with the "spore launchers fighting each other" bug sometime, and this seems like it's probably the same bug, so this may prove useful when I get to dealing with it.
