It's true, though. It's a thousand times more likely that a riot will erupt over which team wins the Stanley Cup than whether or not gay marriage should have been made legal (it is legal here, btw).

The sign and our marriage laws refer to human-human marriages. Nobody cares if you marry a man or a woman, but watching hockey is more socially acceptable than not watching hockey.

It was MrWhereItsAt.  Commonly MrWIA. 

He and I had avatar wars that whole first demogame, with my avatar being Piccolo, we'd alter our avatars and title every day to mock each other.  This was the ultimate culmination. 

The picture is actually FLAWED as he's from New Zealand, but he was away in Australia at the time.  Wish I had the whole article that went with it, but it's gone.  I know how narrowly we avoided a banning at the time, though...

(people actually had thought the avatar wars were serious, but we were coordinating with each other, thus this come off as a big insult to those that didn't know it was all coordinated in advance.)
