I had a little look at the themes, and only Valka is using Enterprise, and someone Killing Time.  Everyone else in default theme.  It's been almost two years, and it's a lot of hugely-memory-hogging junk on the server not seeing use.

I need somebody(s) to have a look at all the themes and tell me what's workable and what's just. too. crappy in practice even if you like that sort of look.  I'm never going to find time to learn how to alter themes to work - though missing icons, like I see some usergroups postbits missing in Killing Time, what I'm in now, should be easy to fix.

We've just got way too many themes installed - need to get rid of crap ones to make finding the good ones not such a chore.  Let's try to get it down to ten to choose from .  Have an eye towards a variety of light-dark and colors.

Help a has-finite-time d00d out here, willya?

It was one of the rotating News items atop the Root directory for a very long time until sisko fiddled to showcase BE news last year.  I believe I included instructions there...

Okay - I seem to have fixed the usergroup icons for The Killing theme - at least the ones I've noticed/icons made since September 2013.

One problem with this many doggon themes is that some stuff doesn't work automatically unless I upload images separately - other things work automatically.

NOTE: If only Eadee goes through the themes, I'm going to take his word for it...

(If you get trapped in a theme with no -or invisble- button to change back out, use the Back button on your browser to go back where you could change back, and do so.)

Attn: Uno and Valka - I figured out how to make the Shop images display on other themes, BTW.     It's not even a big pain, just a little slow; I downloaded the entire folders in question and uploaded them into the /images folder in each theme, creating the filepath that was missing. 

More available on request should anyone use other themes - Eadee's going to go through the themes this weekend and choose 10 to keep, and I strongly recommend others doing the same before I start deleting useless themes.

I testet the first 10 Themes today, here are the results:

Colorcode:
Working and obvious differences to default theme.
Working but no significant difference to default theme.
Bugged or completely broken

Core Theme: Bright and comfortable to read. Very similar to the default theme. (maybe unneccessary)
Enterprise: Dark theme but also easy to read and not depressing dark.
Techhead: Blue, medium brightness. "Home"-screen does not fit the theme, also there's no link to the forum, so you're kinda stuck (can find a way through: own profile - show own posts - click on thread name).
Arcane Magic: same as Techhead, but with some brownish color. Search Button is only a frame with no wrtiting on it. Links in Profile-Section (like change of Theme) are almost impossible to see or even read.
Pitch Black: Profile Menu broken, unable to navigate it (Unable to load the 'edit_options' template.) "Home" doesn't fit the theme. no link to forum. No Shop button, some others missing as well.
Saphire: has Sound-effects, missing buttons. non fitting "home" with no link to forum.
Alienation: missing buttons. non fitting "home" with no link to forum.
MetallicAbyss: nope...
IceStars: Winter Theme, looks nice, but impossible to navigate.
Mesh: "Home" doesn't fit the theme. no link to forum. No Shop button, some others missing as well.

This far 80% of the theme's are not in a working condition.

Missing button icons I can fix; missing buttons I cannot.  Does me possibly uploading the icons change any of those recommendations?  I think missing icons always show up as obvious little boxes...



People, I'd REALLY like to make the delete decisions off more than one person reporting back...

well, in the "Arcane Magic" I saw the search-button but no icon for it. In all other cases I was unable to identify even the slightest indication of those missing buttons, no boxes at all.
