I should put it out there, for at least those vigilant enough to check a new post in this thread, that at midnight, the beginning of the 23rd, the first day of Autumn, I'm going to make Halloween the default theme for 24 hours.  It would be Thanksgiving instead, if it wasn't for the Firefox underline problem.

...I'm really missing the Users Active in the Last 24 hours today.  Looks like there's some buttons I need to upload, but that's it for problems with this theme besides the little orange box at the top and bottom I couldn't move or get rid of...

Uploading fixed the missing buttons - I was surprised I hadn't spotted that and fixed already.  There is definitely a benefit there to using a theme all day in the regular user way - I simply don't always think to check everything when I'm working on a theme.

Okay - interesting day, all Halloween; but it feels like coming home to go back to bland ol' Curve.  I'm used to it.

The poll on making the SMAC theme SMACX ended up a 3-3 tie, so path of least resistance and a happy Lord Avalon wins.

My DL is currently in the Enterprise theme, and I can't shake the feeling that it's really too dark and blandly-colored for that old Star Trek aesthetic.  I'm going to try out a version with the thin line boxing everything bridge-rail red-orange; it's a matter of a quick change to six .jpgs and uploading, easily undone if Valka doesn't like...

I've just caught up in this thread, and re the Thanksgiving theme: Yes, I would use it more if the underlining was fixed.

Please don't tell me to use IE; I will not use that unless there are literally no other options.

I have remarked a million times over that there are mystery problems that only happen in Firefox and our tech guys never nail down - because that is the case.  I do not get these reports from users of Chrome and IE.  I'll skim further back, now to see if I ever actually told anyone to stop using the Great Satan...

Val; I do believe the pep of the red-orange rails adds to the Star Trek of the theme without being too bright as I feared when I first considered it last summer.  What do you think?  Keeper?

You mean along the side? They're not very bright on my monitor, so I don't have a problem.

The box around the outside...

I think I'd have to go twice as wide with the line to make it bright - the pics are .jpg, and blur a little.
