T_ras, what are the patch/version requirements for your MPs? Currently running Kyrub's SMAX patch PLUS and GOG release. I assume you are at least running Scient's (2010) so I suppose I can revert to that.

For a first MP game, I think I would feel more comfortable with multiple other players. No stress. A good learning experiment.

I can, barring being run over by streetcars or abducted by government agents or aliens, post at least one turn a day if I figure out how the PBEM works.

Awesome. I have some BS meeting at work then a social function today. Then, I will read up and get busy.

You guys may very well eat me alive. However, I am not much of a slouch, either. Roze, played correctly, is a strong faction I would put up against some of the powerhouses out there at least single player.
