The more recent Sci Fi channel series --- just sucked.  They should have gone to jail just for using the Queen theme in the first promos and then not delivering - I don't CARE about rights issues.  A colossal disappointment, I want my money back after watching too much for free hoping it would get better, and, like the porno, I will not be posting it here.

Flash Gordon- Akim TheTerrible

I don't know what I expected, but -- not this.  The score is not good.  I think I expected something a lot more like the serials, is all.  20 years progress in special effects, and notwithstanding TV budget, the first serial wasn't done on exactly Gone With the Wind money, y'know?  TV doesn't have to mean sucks, is all.

Find a piece of grand-sounding classical music in the public domain if using Liszt's Prelude again is a problem, and why do Flash Gordon stuff without Ming and Mongo and all the great stuff from the strip?  This just as well be Captain Video or something.  They're in the Space Patrol in the 33rd century.  Why?
