This is the turn tracking thread for the "Cage Match" play-by-email (PBEM)
SMAX v2.0 game+unofficial patch (Scient), difficulty level: Transcend

Important notes:
1. Additional game rules - see first post here: http://alphacentauri2.info/index.php?topic=1519.0
2. The expected turn rate is 1 turn every 24 hours. In case of inactivity of any player, the turn will be 'pushed' after 6 (six) days. Obviously out-of-town and vacation periods are excluded if properly announced in this thread - the game will be stalled during these periods.
3. Default action to be taken on non-responsive player for mutiple times in a row (5 times): the faction will be turned to the AI.
5. The AI is not enhanced. All AI factions have their first bases deployed at the start of the game. You all start with 2 colony pods and one combat unit.
6. You don't have the commlinks of the other factions so you should look in the alphaX.txt file for the following line:
"If non-zero, humans can always contact each other in hotseat/email games" and set the switch to 0 (zero). This is to avoid questions like: "Have we made contact or not?"

HOw do I kneo if I have "unofficial patch (Scient)" (which I probably do Iguess, just want to be sure...)

your terranx.exe should be dated 07/05/10 or something like that (depending on your date format).
Anyone else feels like it's time to fix the faction graphics bug?

I have something called the Unofficial_SMAC_SMAX_Patch_V1.0  dated 5/7/2010.  If this is not the right patch, where do I get the correct patch?
